Big News! The 2024 MICE Hosting Support Program in Gyeonggi is Here and Better Than Ever!

Thanks to a powerhouse partnership between Gyeonggi-do and the Gyeonggi Tourism Organization, the 2024 MICE Hosting Support Program has been spectacularly upgraded. Are you ready to explore all the amazing new perks? Dive in and discover what’s new!

1. Hybrid Event Alert: At Least 50% of Total Participants Required to Attend Offline!

Gyeonggi-do is now boosting support for hybrid events. (online+offline). If you can get at least 50% of your attendees to show up in person, your event qualifies for increased subsidies.

2. Relaxed Requirements for Incentive Eligibility: Groups of 20 or more who visit three paid tourist attractions or stay overnight in Gyeonggi-do are now eligible for incentives.

The incentive market is on the mend, yet it's still a tad early to expect the pre-COVID visitor numbers in Korea. That's why Gyeonggi-do has made it easier by lowering the required number of participants for incentive groups from 30 to just 20. So, if your group has over 20 members and you check out three or more paid tourist spots in Gyeonggi-do or stay a night, why not go ahead and apply for a subsidy?

3. Receive an Additional 10% Support Bonus for Events Held at Unique Venues.

Did you know that Gyeonggi-do boasts 17 spectacular Unique Venues, perfect for your next event? We're taking things to the next level! Choose one of these exceptional locations and score an additional 10% bonus on your regular support. That’s right—while last year we only offered extra points, now selecting a unique venue guarantees an extra bonus boost!

If you're planning a MICE event in Gyeonggi-do, don't forget to check out the subsidies for hosting and bidding available! Whether it's a Conference, Exhibition, or Event, support is available at three stages: Bidding, Promotion and Hosting.

Additionally, for Reward Tourism(Incentive), we also provide support not only during the Hosting stage but also during Inspection visits to aid bidding proposal.
