[🧀GMICE Hot Topic]: Gyeonggi-do’s Exclusive Booth at the 2025 KOREA MICE EXPO, the Largest MICE Festival in Korea!

From November 3 to 5, COEX hosted the 2025 KOREA MICE EXPO (KME 2025), the nation’s largest MICE-related event. The event gathered local governments, convention bureaus, venues, and service providers from across Korea for three bustling days of exchange and promotion. Gyeonggi-do, in collaboration with Suwon Convention Center,

operated a joint booth featuring 17 participating institutions—including members of the Gyeonggi Tourism & MICE Alliance. Visitors from around the world explored Gyeonggi-do’s growing MICE infrastructure and learned about the province’s unique policies and future vision. With over 350 organizations and companies (sellers) and more than 200 domestic and international buyers, KME 2025 served as a vibrant hub for MICE networking and collaboration.

Gyeonggi-do’s booth at the 2025 Korea MICE EXPO turned heads with its vibrant design inspired by the province’s MICE brand, “Fall in Gyeonggi.” The setup served as a dynamic platform to promote Gyeonggi-do’s regional MICE infrastructure, unique venues, and diverse local attractions, captivating both domestic and global visitors.

Over three days of exhibitions and B2B business meetings, the booth provided valuable opportunities to explore new possibilities for hosting MICE events across Gyeonggi-do. including social media tagging challenges, MICE “true or false” quiz giveaways, and a hands-on “Fall in Gyeonggi” upcycled keyring workshop, which offered participants a fun and memorable introduction to the world of Gyeonggi MICE.

  • Representatives from various MICE sectors—including institutions, venues, tourism, and service sectors—gathered to share practical insights essential for booking and operating actual events.
  • Through the new MICE brand “Fall in Gyeonggi,” the province strengthened its image as a global MICE hub that organically connects people, regions, industries, and cultures.
  • It can be said that the event became a meaningful platform for building networks with the potential to connect with Gyeonggi-do’s future MICE policies and support programs.

With successful booth operations at the 2025 KOREA MICE EXPO, Gyeonggi-do effectively promoted its unique venues and infrastructure to MICE professionals worldwide, laying the foundation for expanded collaboration and event attraction in the years ahead. Such effort also marked a significant step in enhancing the brand recognition of Gyeonggi MICE and broadening cooperation across the province, at levels of city and county.
