우크라이나 키예프에서 태어난 로만 페데리코는 5살 때부터 음악을 배우기 시작했습니다. 6살 때부터 음악 경연 대회에 참가하기 시작했으며 우크라이나 문화재단의 "우크라이나의 새로운 이름”의 수상자이자 장학생으로 선발되었고, 리히텐슈타인 국제 음악 아카데미의 장학생입니다. 2019년과 2022년에는 EMCY 상을 수상했으며, 2021년에는 우크라이나 대통령으로부터 젊은 예술가를 위한 장학금을 받았습니다. 현재 그라츠 음악대학에서 밀라나 체루냐브스카(Milana Chernyavska)에게 사사하였습니다.

그는 수많은 국제 피아노 콩쿠르에서 입상했으며, 가장 최근에는 미국 애리조나주 템피에서 열린 제10회 야마하 USASU 국제 시니어 피아노 콩쿠르에서 1위 (2023), 독일 뒤셀도르프에서 열린 젊은 피아니스트를 위한 로버트 슈만 콩쿠르 뒤셀도르프에서 1위(2023), 스위스 제네바에서 열린 블라디미르 호로비츠 기념 국제 젊은 피아니스트 콩쿠르 키예프-제네바에서 1위와 금메달을 수상했습니다(2023).

로만은 프랑스 파리의 코르트홀, 도비아코의 구스타프 말러 홀, 독일 본에 있는 베토벤 하우스의 챔버뮤직홀, 스위스 취리히의 톤할레, 독일 듀셀도르프의 로베트르 슈만 홀, 스위스 제네바의 빅토리아 홀 등 유럽의 주요 공연장에서 연주회를 가졌습니다.

Born in Kyjiv, Ukraine, Roman entered the children’s music school No. 21 in Kyjiv at the age of 5, in the class of Ghalyna Kotsjuba. He started to participate in music competitions when he was 6 years old. Roman is a Laureate and a Scholar of the “New Names of Ukraine” by the Ukrainian Foundation of Culture. He is a scholar of the International Academy of Music in Liechtenstein. Roman was also awarded the EMCY Prize in 2019 and 2022. In 2021, he received the Scholarship for young artists of the President of Ukraine. Roman is currently a student of Prof. Dr. Milana Chernyavska at the University of Music and Performing Arts Graz.

He has won prizes at many international piano competitions, the latest being the 1st Prize at the 10th Yamaha USASU International Senior Piano Competition in Tempe, Arizona, USA (2023), the 1st Prize at the Robert Schumann Competition Düsseldorf for Young Pianists in Düsseldorf, Germany (2023), and the 1st Prize and the Gold Medal of the International Competition for Young Pianists in Memory of Vladimir Horowitz Kyiv-Geneva in Geneva, Switzerland (2023).

Roman has appeared on the stages of Salle Cortot in Paris, France, Gustav Mahler Hall in Toblach, Italy, Kammermusiksaal of the Beethoven-Haus in Bonn, Germany, Vortragssaal of the Tonhalle Zürich in Zürich, Switzerland, Robert-Schumann-Saal in Düsseldorf, Germany, Victoria Hall in Geneva, Switzerland, and many others.
