| Company introduction | The Third Tunnel, discovered on October 17, 1978, 435m south of the Military Demarcation Line and 4km south of Panmunjom, is an arch-shaped rock tunnel. At 1.95m wide, 2.1m tall, and 73m underground, the tunnel stretches roughly 1.6km in length. From a tactical standpoint, it can transport 30,000 soldiers and heavy firearms such as field artillery per hour, and from a historical standpoint, it remains an important example of a tactical asset used by North Korea. | ||
